Biography:
In high school I played basketball, and started Varsity my sophomore year as a small forward. Amongst most athlete’s who don’t pursue sports after high school, I found myself finding my stress relief and peace in the gym. As a young adult I had to be self sufficient and found a job that I was able to turn into a career. In 2013 I met my coach, and was introduced to the world of Bodybuilding and was persuaded to compete. I trained for a couple years and competed in July of 2015 at the Los Angeles Muscle Contest NPC Championships. The strength, discipline, and self discovery I found, in that time of my prep has eternally changed my life. I’ve always been recognized as a leader, someone who inspired others by my lifestyle of eating healthy, being active an overall positive influence. Although since the day prior to stepping on stage for the first time, I knew I had found my purpose in life. I was intended and am adamant in creating my future around Health & Fitness. I ended up winning first place at my show and was overjoyed at the accomplishment yet frightened for what the quest for my Pro Card would entail. I decided I would do USA’s in July of 2016, so as a pre show I entered June’s 2016 Southern California Muscle Contest NPC Championships where I recently took home first place. In closing…” Define success on your own terms, achieve it by your own rules, and build a life you’re proud to live”. – Anne Sweeney-
